KSU Kids English
KSU Kids English takes place each summer at KSU and has been an outreach activity organized by the Language Education Research Center (LERC) for the past twelve years. The lessons are held for four days in a row at the end of July/early August. Originally intended for children in the surrounding area, the program has since grown to include students from across the city.
The program is designed for elementary school-aged children. Classes are divided into three levels: grades 1-2, grades 3-4 and grades 5-6. The benefits of joining the program include unlimited use of the LERC facilities for the four days, including the Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) library , the DVD library, e-learning software, and computer games.
The teachers of KSU Kids’ English are experienced university teachers who enjoy teaching children.
The registration period is open from June 1st to early August, but the popularity of Kids’ English means that the classes’ maximum enrolment of 30 students is usually filled by mid-June. Early registration is highly encouraged and made possible by contacting the LERC directly at 092-673-5370.
